So, you want a website - what next?

The first thing we do is find out from you what you need and want:

• Roughly how many pages
• Any sites you like
• What you want the website to do - just promote your services or actually sell products
• What domain name you would prefer
• Do you want a basic design or a premium design

From this we provide you with a quotation. The quotation is based on the above information and will depend especially on what you want the website to do and how many pages.

Once the price is agreed we need a 30% deposit to start the work. After receipt of the deposit we get cracking!

Design

First step is we do a design mock-up in Photoshop. For this we'll need your logo if you have one or we can create a simple text based logo.

The mock-up will be put online for you to see. Most often our clients are happy with this first mock-up, especially if you've been clear as to what is wanted. We can make some minor amendments or if you are completely unhappy with it then we'll make a 2nd mock-up.

Build

Once the design is approved then we'll need the remaining content from you - copy (in it's final form and proofread), photos etc. and then we start building the pages.

The website will then be put on a test site for you to see and minor amendments can be made at this stage. Hopefully your copy was provided well formed and proofread but if there are major changes to be made then we'll let you know how much extra this will cost.

Website goes live

After the final amendments have been made and the website has been tested we buy the domain name (in your name), set up a hosting account and put it live! At this stage we'll also set up email accounts.

And there you have it - your website is online ready for you to start promoting it to potential customers!
